產品活性：L-DOPA (Levodopa) 是一種具有口服活性的神經遞質多巴胺的代謝前體。L-DOPA 可以透過血腦屏障，并在大腦中轉化為多巴胺。L-DOPA 具有抗痛覺過敏作用，并有研究帕金森氏病的潛力。

體內：L-DOPA 可用于動物建模，構建大鼠異動癥模型。L-DOPA（20 mg/kg；口服）可減少魚藤酮引起的運動功能障礙[3]。L-DOPA（10、30、50、70 和 100 mg/kg；口服）可逆轉神經性大鼠的觸覺、冷熱異常性疼痛，而對斯普拉格-道利大鼠沒有任何副作用[4]。在成年普通狨猴中 (Callithrix jacchus, 2-3 years old, 270-350 g)，L-DOPA（20/5 mg/kg，口服）顯示血漿中的 Tmax 為 30 分鐘，紋狀體細胞外液 (ECF) 中的 Tmax 為 60-90 分鐘。血漿中的平均 Cmax 為 20.3 μM，紋狀體 ECF 中的平均 Cmax 為 442.9 nM，約為血漿中的 2.2%[6]。
